How Well Do Your Auditors Know RISK BASED INTEGRATED AUDITING TM ?
We understand your concern. You send your auditors to training seminars; you invest in their course fee, airfare, hotel and other expenses but did you get your money's worth? You wonder "how well do they know the RBIA concepts when they return?".
Introducing the RBIA Concepts Test. Available at the conclusion of RBIA seminars (regularly scheduled public classes or in-house seminars) as a way to:
· Ensure your auditors understand the concepts
· Ensure that you are receiving value for your training dollars
The need for an assessment has been suggested by the General Auditors of several RBIA audit departments. The test has been designed to provide General Auditors with a level of confidence that their attendees have attained a degree of comprehension with the subject matter as well as an understanding of how RBIA is implemented.

Test Results
Test results are not based around a "Pass/Fail" level determined by the instructor. For improved feedback to participants, and to their General Auditors, the grading is performed as follows:
· Each participant receives:
- Their test scores back the following week with the correct answers identified for each question.
- A rating as to how they scored with respect to the other participants in their class, along with the rolling averages of all classes for which the test was offered. An indication of how they scored relative to all other auditors from their own audit department who have completed the test.
· The General Auditor of the department receives a separate summary of the participant’s score, the average of all class scores to date and, of course, their own audit department participants’ average score.
This will enable each General Auditor to determine what they think is an acceptable "Pass/Fail" performance for each of their auditors. They can set the bar at whatever level they choose.
For example, an auditor who has worked on RBIA self-directed work teams for several months before attending the class could reasonably be expected to score higher than a new recruit in the department. Similarly, recruits from other audit organizations may be reasonably expected to score higher on the audit fundamentals questions than non-auditors recruited as subject matter experts. If a General Auditor wants to set a high score as the minimum that they will accept from their auditors, we will provide the information for them to determine that score level.
All the answers to the test questions are contained in the course materials, including the laminated, quick reference cards. At the conclusion of each day of the course, additional time is set aside for test participants to ask questions for further clarification.
Valuable, supplemental information is also contained in the "General Auditor’s Guide to RBIA" which can be obtained by calling (832) 588-5113.
