Focus on Risk Enterprises is a seminar and consulting company providing business risk, control, assurance, and internal audit services. Our origins began with The Osterio Group, which provided high quality training and consulting to business executives, managers, and internal auditors since 1989. We have presented our value enhancing and cost cutting concepts in the USA, Canada, UK, United Arab Emirates, Australia and Malaysia.
With the passing of our founder, Peter Osterio, in June 2007 The Osterio Group began the mission of passing the torch to his designated replacement, Liz Meyers. Peter first met Liz while working to implement Risk Based Integrated Auditing TM (RBIA) with her internal audit team at Sysco Corporation, the nation’s largest food distribution and Fortune 100 Company based in Houston, Texas. Peter expressed that if he had to pick just one person to carry RBIA forward, it could be safely entrusted to Liz. The Osterio Group has been working diligently over the last year to make this transition happen. We are now proud to introduce Liz Meyers as the new lead instructor and visionary of Risk Based Integrated Auditing TM , Practical Governance and Risk Management TM under the newly formed company Focus on Risk Enterprises.
Liz has experience with external auditing and accounting as well as leadership roles in internal audit and information technology. Combined with her qualified perspective as a business manager with risk/control and audit experience she also has the practical experience of implementing the Osterio Risk Based Integrated AuditingTM (RBIA) concepts while leading an internal audit function. With her hands on experience as a former client, Liz has agreed to carry on The Osterio Group programs and methodology which includes two primary families of products and services:
